We have some truly inspirational speakers this year, including our key note speaker Jo Marchant, the highly acclaimed New York Times bestselling author of the investigative book Cure. Jo is an award winning writer who originally trained as a Scientist with a PhD in genetics and medical microbiology. Her writing explores a number of approaches to examine whether the mind can heal the body. Jo researches in depth, uncovering evidence that leads to conclude thoughts, emotions and beliefs can have a very real effect on our health. Cure has was awarded Best Book of the year 2016 by a number of respected journals, including the New York Post, Sunday Times and Economist.

This year we also have one of the world's leading natural health authorities Jayney Goddard from the Complementary Medicine Association speaking on business skills, plus Robert Vekerk (Alliance of Natural Health International), Nicola Brough (Warwick University) and Paul Grant (BSG Solicitors).

EHTPA Conference - Thriving as Herbalists - 18th February 2017

How can we better promote what we do to the public?
How can we support each other as herbalists?


These are some of the vital questions that will be addressed at this EHTPA conference which aims to generate a range of practical ideas and initiatives to advance the scope and profile of herbal practice. These proposals can subsequently be utilised by individual herbal practitioners, Professional Associations and/or the EHTPA.

Speakers Simon Mills and Anita Ralph will provide food for thought to engender active discussion throughout the break-out sessions that form the backbone of this conference. In addition, Lucy Jones will give a presentation on marketing your herbal practice.
